Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is Dragonflow OÜ (registry code 17123729), Nurme, Turbuneeme village, Kuusalu parish, Harju county, 74707, Estonia. Contact: hello@desirepathnumbers.com. This policy applies to the website desirepathnumbers.com and the calculator and profiles delivered through it.

2. What we process, why, and on what legal basis

• Calculator details (your full name and date of birth). We use them to calculate your numbers and to produce your profile. Legal basis: performance of a contract or steps you request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Order details (your email address, billing details you provide, order and payment status). We use them to deliver your profile, send you the receipt and handle support. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), and legal obligation for accounting and tax records (Art. 6(1)(c)). Your card details are entered with our payment provider and never reach us.
• Messages you send us. We use them to reply. Legal basis: contract or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested), which our hosting provider logs automatically. We use it to deliver the site securely and to prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Newsletter signup (your email address, the page you signed up on, the wording of the consent you agreed to, the date and time of signup, and your IP address at signup as proof of consent). We use it to send you our letters and notices of new articles. We only do this if you tick the consent box. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to us, and this does not affect what we did before.
• Your age confirmation. When you enter the site you confirm that you are 18 or older. We save this choice only in your own browser (local storage), not on our servers.

3. Intimate subject matter

The topic of this site is intimate, so we want to be clear. Your numbers are calculated from your name and date of birth by a fixed formula. We do not ask about, and do not intend to process, your sexual orientation, your sex life, your health or other special categories of data, and a profile is not information about your actual sexual life. Please do not enter such information in any field or message. If you do write to us about such matters, we will use it only to answer you and will delete it on request.

4. Who receives your data

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, under data processing agreements:

• CosmoKit, the platform that runs the calculator and profiles, operated by Dragonflow OÜ.
• Stripe, which processes payments.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Email delivery and similar infrastructure providers used by CosmoKit to send your profile and receipt.
• MailerLite, the email service we use to store newsletter subscribers and send newsletter emails. It receives only the details you give when you sign up to the newsletter.
• Our accountant and public authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Transfers outside the EEA

Some providers, such as Stripe and Vercel, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. How long we keep it

• Calculator details and your profile: for as long as you can access your profile, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Accounting records (orders, invoices): seven years, as Estonian law requires.
• Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We then keep only a minimal record that you unsubscribed, so that we do not email you again.
• Messages: as long as needed to answer you, and normally no longer than two years.
• Server logs: kept briefly by the hosting provider for security.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. To understand which pages are useful, we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and does not follow you across other websites. It records the page visited, the referring site, your country, and your device and browser type. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f)). The embedded calculator and the checkout may use cookies or local storage that are strictly necessary for them to work, for example to keep your session or to process payment securely, and the age confirmation described above is stored in local storage. Because these are essential, no consent banner is shown. If we add analytics cookies or marketing cookies later, we will ask for your consent first.

8. Automated calculation

Your numbers are calculated automatically by a fixed formula from the details you enter. This is not profiling and has no legal or similarly significant effect on you.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. To use these rights, write to hello@desirepathnumbers.com. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee) or with the authority in your own country.

10. Adults only

This service is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access limited to those who need it.

12. Changes

We will update this policy when our services or the law change, and show the date at the top of this page.
